How Bespoke Works
Eight stages, roughly four to six weeks, and one garment that exists for you alone.
Bespoke, Made to Measure and Ready to Wear
Ready to wear is a finished garment in standard sizes. Made to measure adjusts an existing block to your measurements. Bespoke — the word means "spoken for" — draws an entirely new pattern for your body and builds the garment around it, with fittings along the way. Only bespoke can correct posture, asymmetry and stance.
The Process
From Conversation to Cloth
Consultation
We talk about your life, not just your size — how you work, travel, sit and celebrate. From that we recommend cut, cloth weight and construction.
Cloth Selection
The full house library comes to you. You handle the cloth, see it in daylight, and choose lining, buttons and thread alongside it.
Measurement
Between eighteen and twenty-four measurements are taken, along with posture notes: shoulder slope, stance, blade prominence and neck pitch.
Pattern Drafting
A unique paper pattern is drawn for you and archived under your name. No block, no template, no shared sizing.
Cutting & Basting
The cloth is cut by hand and loosely assembled with white basting thread so the garment can be opened and corrected.
First Fitting
You try the basted garment. We mark balance, sleeve pitch and length in chalk directly on the cloth, then take it apart again.
Hand Finishing
Canvas is padded into the chest, lapels are rolled, sleeves are set, buttonholes are worked and linings are closed by hand.
Final Fitting & Delivery
A last fitting confirms every line. The garment is pressed, packed and delivered to you — anywhere in the world.
