Bespoke Trousers

Rise, seat, thigh, knee and hem — measured, drafted and balanced to how you actually stand and walk.

The Hardest Garment to Get Right

More men are let down by their trousers than by their jackets. Rise determines where the waist sits and how long the leg reads; the seat determines whether the cloth falls cleanly or pulls. We cut both to you, then balance the hem so the break is identical on each leg.

Standard Finishing

Curtained waistband, French bearer fastening, brace buttons on request, split waistband for future alteration, and your choice of cuff (turn-up) depth or a plain hem.

Styles

Types of Bespoke Trouser

Flat-Front Tapered

Clean front, modern taper, no break to a slight break. The contemporary standard.

Single Pleat

One forward pleat for room through the thigh without volume at the hem. Comfortable and classic.

Double Pleat

Full drape in the old English manner, high rise, cuffed hem. Elegant with double-breasted jackets.

Side-Adjuster Trouser

Buckle adjusters replace the belt, keeping the waistline clean beneath a waistcoat.

Evening Trouser

Satin or grosgrain braid down the side seam, plain hem, cut for black tie.

Linen & Fresco Summer Trouser

High-twist or linen cloth cut a touch fuller for airflow in heat and humidity.
